Even though it might not always seem like it, the world is full of good people. You just got to know where to look for them. A woman was driving late at night towards her home and unfortunately for her, the car’s engine broke down. Something bad was going on since smoke was coming from under the hood and to make things even worse, she didn’t have enough money to call a tow truck.
However, things took a turn for the better when a group of teenagers spotted her car and decided to help out. These kids pushed her car for five miles! Aeron McQuillin, 18, Bailey Campbell, 17, and Billy Tarbett, 15 are three good kids who live close to Niagara. One night they were going out to get some snacks and spotted a car that had its hazard lights turned on. Instead of driving past by, the kids did something amazing.
As previously mentioned, the three teenagers live close to Niagara Falls. This means that their local roads are always filled with tourists and they always get to meet new people.
Even though kids are taught to stay away from strangers, the three teenagers didn’t listen to their parents one night.
Our story beings when the teenagers heard that Tim Hortons is running a special combo order. They got all the money they had and started driving towards the restaurant.
They could already taste the delicious donuts!
Even though the teenagers were looking to get a late-night snack, this is not what happened.
Instead of eating delicious cookies, the three boys ended up saving someone who was stranded on the highway.
As the teenagers were getting closer to the restaurant, they spotted a car that had its hazard lights turned on.
They knew that something bad must have happened and they decided to go and check out if the stranger is okay.
The teenagers quickly saw that there is smoke coming out of the car’s hood and they knew that they had to help. A woman was inside the car and she crying because she didn’t know what to do.
She couldn’t afford a tow truck and it was almost midnight!
The teenagers took a look at the car’s engine and realized that there’s nothing that they can do to fix it so they offered to push the car to the woman’s home.
The problem here is that the woman lives five miles away!
Running give miles is difficult but the teenagers were set on doing a good deed and they started pushing the woman’s car.
She says that she couldn’t believe that they were willing to put so much hard work in order to help her out.
One of the teenagers pulled out a portable speaker and he started playing music.
Their good spirits were turning this terrible night into a great adventure.
Pushing the car for five miles is no easy task, especially since they had to face all types of challenges. For example, they had to push the car over a 300-foot hill.
That was super difficult!
The woman would stop the car every thirty minutes so that the teenagers could catch their breath.
She was still in awe that three kids are putting in so much hard work to save her.
The woman who was getting helped by the teenagers said that what shocked her the most is that the teenagers never gave up.
No matter how big the hill was, they kept on pushing the car until they passed it.
Even though the teenagers were planning to eat some delicious donuts, this isn’t what happened. Instead of eating a late-night snack, they got a good workout and they were happy about it.
All that mattered to them was that the woman was getting home safely.
The woman took a couple of pictures of the teenagers and posted them on Facebook to show everyone how amazing they are.
The Facebook post went viral and the teenagers went on to become local stars.
The teenagers didn’t just become local stars, but their parents were really proud of them.
They knew that they did a good job raising them and teaching them about how important it is to do good deeds.
The woman who got saved took her car to service as fast as she could and the mechanic told her she was actually in danger if she turned her engine on. The car could’ve caught on fire!
Can you believe how lucky she got that the teenagers came to help her?
The most amazing thing about this story is that the teenagers didn’t want anything in return for their good deed.
They hugged the woman, said goodbye and then went on their own way.
We hope that the teenagers ended their night by going to Tim Hortons and getting the delicious donuts that they initially planned to get.
After all, they deserve them!
This story shows us just how important it is to help the ones around us.
You never know how you might end up in a bad situation and it’s always nice to have a helping hand.
The teenagers had no idea that their night would take such a strange turn but we are happy that it did.
Otherwise, the woman would’ve had to pay thousands of dollars for a tow truck to help her out.
