There have been tens of videos that have been shared online for millions of times and not just that, but the people who star in this type of videos usually end up as memes and their fame keeps getting bigger. Just think of the “cash me outside” girl who ended up creating a career as a rapper and winning millions of dollars after raging out during a Dr. Phil episode that aired on live TV. On the downside of things, these viral videos also have a dark side that most people don’t know about.
With that said, today we are going to show you the most interesting viral videos that had surprising twists that no one knew about.
Today we are going to show you some of the internet’s most popular online videos that have dark twists to them and we are not talking about the Harlem Shake or any other dance challenges.
The interesting thing about these twists is that most people forget about them really quick.

A couple of years ago a video of a Muslim family being kicked out of Disneyland went viral and the entire world was upset. How could this happen in a country as the United States where freedom is all that matters?
Well, the Disneyland guards had a good reason to kick out the family.
Multiple reports from the police have shown that the Muslim family was not looking to have fun at Disneyland.
They all were tagged by the FBI as religious extremists and the guards at Disneyland had no other option than to kick them out.
Do you remember the #Dress? A woman purchased this dress in order to wear at her daughter’s party and the interesting thing about it is that people saw it in different colors.
The picture of this dress went viral and sadly, it brought only sadness to the woman who took the initial picture.
The woman who snapped the photo of the dress started suing all media outlets that used the picture for royalties.
Unfortunately for her, the money she got from royalties wasn’t enough for her to pay the law firm and she went bankrupt.
Another viral story that shocked the internet was when a man who had a cough ended up spitting this “seaweed” looking thing that we are seeing in the picture featured above.
This is actually the man’s lung and he claimed that after coughing it out, he feels better than ever.
Sadly, the previous story took a turn for the worse.
Even though the man who coughed the lung lived for a couple more weeks, he eventually was rushed to the emergency room where he passed away.
Do you remember the Batkid? This kid was battling cancer and he was on list stretch.
He already took the last shot of chemicals and in order to make his last days feel amazing, the city of Philadelphia helped him reenact some of Batman’s most famous scenes. What do you think happened to him?
Against all odds, the little kid survived and beat cancer.
This is the first uplifting twist on our list and we are glad that Batkid managed to not only defeat the villains, but also cancer.
A social activist name Jason Russel started a campaign to raise money to fight against a warlord named Kody.
Millions of Americans donated their hard-earned money to Jason’s campaign and what happened next shocked everyone.
Jason Russel couldn’t deal with his newfound fame and he had a mental breakdown. He ended up naked on the streets and someone filmed him.
Obviously, the video went viral.
The Techno Viking is one of the internet’s first celebrities. The video shows him walking around the streets with a group of friends while dancing to techno music.
Just like you are expecting, this viral video has a dark twist.
The Techno Viking ended up suing the man who filmed him and uploaded the video to the internet.
The lawyer fees kept piling up and the person who filmed the Techno Viking went bankrupt.
