We quickly became 'childhood sweethearts' and at 13 he told me that I was 'his lobster,' which is a reference to the hit television sitcom Friends, which in the show refers to the person of whom another is meant to be with forever. The term originated due to the fact that lobsters mate for life. She then continues the story with appreciation, 'When we were 16, we finally sought the courage to fully admit our feelings for each other and we dated for three years," she says looking back towards those very early but crucial years. Despite their budding romance however, the young lovers would soon have to make a very life-altering decision.

He wrote in a saddening tribute to his late wife, "I still talk to Emmy every day." With this tribute, he added a word of advice for others: "Go to your husband or your wife. Your partner or your lover. Tell them that you love them. Embrace them.
