Solange Knowles
Beyonce has a sister, did you know that? Did you also know that her sister, Solange, had a child when she was just seventeen years old? Right after dropping her first studio album, Solange married star Daniel Smith and they welcomed their first child, Daniel Julez Jr. into the world in 2004.

You might remember Jamie Lynn Spears from Nickelodeon shows "All That" and "Zoey 101." In fact, for a while it looked like Jamie may have become a pretty bright Hollywood star if it wasn't for her unplanned pregnancy at 16. She took it in stride though, and Nickelodeon canceled her shows as she welcomed the newborn into this world.
While following her sister Britney's lead is definitely a little difficult, Jamie was a star in her own right and made some pretty awesome television back in the day.
Naomi Judd
We just think their talent was pretty incredible. Fun Fact: Unfortunately, Naomi was diagnosed with Hepatitis C in 1990, bringing their mother-daughter duo to an end.

For anyone who thinks their chance at massive success gets thrown out the window when they have a baby as a teenager, look at Aretha Franklin as proof that it's just not so. Fun Fact: Aretha had 112 charted singles over the course of her career.
Shirley Temple
Shirley Temple was a Hollywood star who burned brighter than ever. So bright, in fact, that she retired from acting when she was only 22. It was probably a smart decision, since she had a baby girl at the age of 19. Shirley decided to keep things simple for herself and focus on raising her family, and abandoning the hectic lifestyle of Hollywood.
We think she did just fine. She passed away later in February of 2014. Fun Fact: Later in life she got involved in politics and even became an ambassador for a few years!
Anna Nicole Smith
Anna Nicole Smith got married at 17, had a baby by 18, and became the Playboy Playmate of the Year at 25 years old. Like many other women on this list, she had her fair share of setbacks, yet thrived later on in life and rose to the top of her profession.
Fun Fact: Anna Nicole Smith dropped out of high school as a sophomore.
Fantasia Barrino
American Idol was all the rage back in 2000. After Ruben Studdard and Kelly Clarkson won seasons one and two, Fantasia won the hearts of America in season three. Little did America know she had a son just three years earlier as an aspiring singer trying to make it.
Thank goodness for shows like American Idol, or else the world may have never known about Fantasia at all. Fun Fact: Fantasia definitely lived up to the hype, receiving three Grammy nominations in 2014 alone.
Roseanne Barr
Roseanne Barr appeared on Late Night with David Letterman and The Tonight Show as a stand-up comedian in the same year. She was 33. Clearly talented, she got her own sitcom special called "Roseanne" soon after.
You might be surprised to hear she had a child at 17 years old who she later gave up for adoption. There's no need to be sad, though. Roseanne reunited with her daughter 17 years later after a very special and entertaining career.
Bristol Palin
Remember politician Sarah Palin? Her whole family was thrust in the spotlight after John McCain named her his running mate in the 2008 election. There's good and bad that comes with that, like the personal news that Bristol Palin, her daughter, had a child at the age of 18.
Bristol is doing just fine, though. She works as a reality TV personality and public speaker, and spends time every day with her son Tripp. Fun Fact: She was named Bristol after her father's hometown of Bristol Bay in Alaska, as well as after the city where her mother wanted to work for ESPN, Bristol, Connecticut.
Sofi Vergara
Sofi Vergara is probably the most well-known celebrity on this list. Her hilarious role on "Modern Family" thrust her into a spotlight that very few people get to experience. She worked for it, though. At 18 she married her high school sweetheart Joe Gonzalez, and they welcomed their first child two years later.
After they divorced soon after, Sofia was left trying to piece together a career, landing small parts in movies until making it big with "Modern Family". Fun Fact: Sofi Vergara recently appeared in a commercial with her 23 year old son.
Keisha Castle-Hughes
Keisha Castle-Hughes was the youngest actress ever to be nominated for an Academy Award. After giving a spectacular performance in Whale Rider, she went on to star in movies like Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and TV shows like Game of Thrones. Also, at just 16 years old, she announced she was pregnant and gave birth to a daughter in April of 2007.
Right now she's just focusing on raising her daughter and her career.
Emily Maynard
We're happy she's happy. Fun Fact: Emily appeared on both The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, and couldn't make it work with either of the guys she ended up with in the end.
Savannah Brinson
Apparently little Lebron is pretty incredible at basketball already, and only time will tell whether he can make it to the NBA just like his father. Fun Fact: Savannah and Lebron finally tied the knot nearly four years ago on September 14, 2013.
Toya Carter
Toya Carter is best known as the wife of Lil Wayne. The two met outside a corner store in New Orleans when Wayne was just twelve years old, and two years later she became pregnant with his daughter at age fourteen. He was already signed to Cash Money Records at that time, and decided to pursue his rap career full-time to help support his daughter. While the two later got married, they divorced just two years after the ceremony because Wayne spent long periods of time on the road.
They remain good friends to this day and raise their daughter together. Fun Fact: Lil Wayne's daughter, Reginae Carter, has a rap career of her own following in her father's footsteps.
Niki Taylor
They got married just three months after in Las Vegas and announced they were expecting soon after. At age 20, Taylor gave birth to twin boys.
Loretta Lynn
Thank goodness he did, as she launched a career that's as memorable as any other musician's. Fun Fact: Loretta was nominated for 17 Grammy Awards and won three.
Maya Angelou
Maya Angelou has perhaps the most inspiring story of any woman on this list. She was a prostitute, nightclub dancer, journalist, and famed author. She was abused at a young age by her mother's boyfriend, and at the age of 17 in 1945, she gave birth to her first and only son named Guy Johnson.
She's written seven autobiographies including "I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings," and is easily one of the most influential and interesting writers of the 20th century. Fun Fact: She never went to college but has received more than 50 honorary degrees.
