15 Behind-The-Scenes Facts About 'Austin Powers'

The majority of the first film was improvised

I have this theory that our lives are almost entirely defined by the movies we watch as a kid. I mean, our very first sense of fashion, humor, art and popular culture as a whole comes straight from the stuff we watched when we were young. That's why I'll always be grateful to my parents for letting me watch more mature content when I was a kid. For instance, I remember when I was just about seven years old, all of my friends had planned to go and see Disney's Tarzan in theaters. I, however, wanted to go see Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me.
Whereas some of my friends' parents weren't comfortable with letting their kids watch that, my parents took me.

Way to be badass, Mom and Dad! Anyways... as the years passed, the Austin Powers film series became one of my favorites, but even still, there are so many crazy behind-the-scenes facts that I never knew about until now. Check it out!
